Condition

The present lot is factory sealed and has not been tested for accuracy or duration of the power reserve. The movement runs. In like-new condition, double sealed in a factory box and plastic wrap. Please be advised that bands made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) are not sold with the watches and are for display purposes only. We reserve the right to remove these bands prior to shipping. Please note that the watch is in platinum. Please note that the present lot is being offered in its original factory seal. Because the strap must be removed in order for the watch to be shipped out of Switzerland, the factory seal will need to be broken. Buyers should be aware that breaking the seal may cause the lot to decrease in value.

Catalogue Note

Patek Philippe Ref. 5204 split second chronograph with perpetual calendar features all the traditional assets that manages to impress the true watch connoisseurs yet remains the most modern representative of its category.

Powered by a caliber CHR 29-535 PS Q movement, the 8th fully in-house designed chronograph movement with a Gyromax balance beating at 28,800 bph (4Hz), ref. 5204 embodies substantial change from the 18,000 bph of ref. 5004's CHR 27-70 Q.

As the apotheosis of Patek Philippe's classic chronograph watch, the new Ref. 5204 is housed in a 40 mm platinum case. While the 5004p was most often seen with Arabic numerals, the 5204P features luminescent applied gold baton markers instead. The dial is intelligently configured setting the stage for one of the most popular and useful functions of a grand complication wristwatch.

The present Patek Philippe reference 5204P-010 is being offered in its original sealed box.
