Catalogue Note
Accompanied by John M. R. Knudsen, The Jürgensen Dynasty and a copy of the catalogue of Urban Jürgensen & Sonner from c. 1992.
According to documents from Urban Jürgensen, no. 3010 belongs to a small series of approximately 18 pocket watch movements, all with different complications. The documentation suggests that perhaps just one other watch, no. 3029, was finishౠed with the same layout and complications as the present watch (no. 3010). These movements remained in the stock of the firm at the time Peter Baumberger acquired Urban Jürgensen in the 1970s. Derek Pratt who was the technical director at Urban Jürgensen subsequently finished the movements between 1980 and 1990.
