The movement in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The dial in very good condition. Dial and bezel in very good condition with all stones intact and sparkling. Case shows signs of use with some surface scratches to the band. A visible curved scratch to the left band near 9-6 o'clock position. Launched in 2007, Rolex introduced three remarkable versions of the GMT-Master II. With 18k white gold construction, the three models are complemented with gem embellishing. As a part of the trio, there is the GMT-Master II Ref. 116759 SA with diamonds and blue sapphires, the Ref. 116759 SARU with diamonds, sapphires, and rubies, and Ref. 116759 SANR with diamonds and black sapphires.

Paved with diamonds, the dial houses the luminescent hour markers and centre Mercedes-style hands. However, the most remarkable feature is the bidi♎rectꦍional rotating bezel where gems replace where a numeral would normally be on a typical GMT-Master bezel.

Ref. 116759 is a part of Rolex’s iconic family of pilot watches, the first being the GMT-Master released in 1955 as a tool watch for Pan Am pilots to keep track of two time zones while on the job. Consequently, the Ref. 116759 also indicates two time zones simultaneously.
