• cal 16.5'" manual winding nickel lever movement, 20 jewels, cut bi-metallic compensation balance • white enamel dial, painted black Breguet numerals, blued steel Breguet hands, subsidiary seconds at 6, outer minute track • 18k yellow gold case, bezels and pendant enhanced with Paillonné blue enamel painted Greek key pattern, hinged 18k yellow gold cuvette engraved with dedication, monogrammed case back • case, dial, cuvette, and movement signed 

Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall fair condition scuffing wear and scratches consistent with use and age. Case bands with scuffing and scratches. A very small indentation and scratch on the right side case band at 2. A very small indentation to the edge of the front bezel at 8. Heavy scuffing to the case back. Case back monogrammed "JHF" in blue and red enamel. The coloring is attractive and vibrant. One circular indentation to the case back on the upper right side. Some light oxidation to the yellow gold case overall especially at the bottom hinge. Dial in very good condition with some light residue. Cuvette inscribed "No. 147831 Made for J. Henry Fariss, Greensboro, N.C. 1909 by Patek Philippe & Co., Geneva, Switzerland."
