• cal. 16.5"' manual winding nickel lever movement, 18 jewels, cut bi-metallic compensation balance • silvered guilloché dial, painted blue Arabic numerals, blued steel Cathedral hands, subsidiary seconds, decorative inner track, outer minute track • 18k yellow gold case, champlevé enamel bezels and bow, running leaf patterned case band, hinged case back • case, dial, and movement signed
Condition
The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall good vintage condition with wear, scuffing and scratches consistent with age and use. Case bezels with wear and light scratches and markings. Polychrome enamel still vibrant with some very small areas of material loss. Case back with heavy scratching and scuffing. Crystal with some very light scuffing. Dial in poorer condition with uneven oxidation radiating from the outer perimeter. Darker, surface oxidation between 12-3 and 7-10. Some areas of surface dotting in the same color. A small amount of oxidation to the blued steel hands. A scratch at "60" on the subsidiary dial. Some light areas of surface loss to the subsidiary dial numerals. A round surface marking area in white between "60" and "10" in the subsidiary dial. Movement in excellent condition.
