Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. This watch has not been tested for diving Case in excellent condition with light wear. Debris and light oxidation which may benefit from cleaning. Manufacturer's protective adhesive still apparent to the case back. Solid screw down case back with depiction of a ship and inscribed "MUSÉE OCÉANOGRAPHIQUE MONACO." Straps may be disengaged through buttons at the hooded lugs. Date function working properly. Dial and movement in excellent condition. This watch is accompanied by a black rubber strap.

The present lot makes a powerful statement at 22 mm thick, with a 48 mm dial.  Hublot designed🔯 this substantial watch to accurately tell time up to 4000 meters under water.  This watch is a result of the first of two partnerships between Hublot and the Oceanographic Museum in Monaco, and each watch in this limited edition series bears the logo of the museum engraved on the case back.
