Condition
The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Case overall fair vintage condition with wear, scuffing, scratches, and oxidation condition with age and use. left side case band with heavy wear, nicks, and material wear, some likely from opening and closing. Case back and upper lug backs with wear, nicks, and oxidation. Scuffing and wear to the rotating coin edge of bezel. Case back with some gaping. Lugs bars are soldered on. Dial in attractive vintage condition with oxidation and wear. Black areas with surface markings, dots, and debris. hands and Arabic indexes with heavy, even oxidation. Revolving bezel operating. Flyback chronograph working properly. Movement in good condition.
