Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. There are some fine lines of craquelure in places and some scattered fly spots visible across the figure's face and neck. There are possible spots of humidity in places, which can be removed. There is a pin-sized spot of pigment loss to the sitter's hair and some minor frame rubbing visible to the extreme edges. This work is in overall good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
