Condition
The canvas has been wax lined. The impasto is well preserved throughout. There is craquelure to the pigment throughout the composition, most notable to the sky and along the right half of the canvas; there is a vertical stretcher mark across the canvas. There are a couple areas where the paint is beginning to lift along the cracks in the sky and the foliage in the upper right corner. Under UV light, there is an area of retouching in the tree foliage to the right of the eiffel tower. There is scattered retoucing along both vertical stretcher marks. There are a couple of minor strokes scattered throughout the sky. The work is in overall good condition.
