The canvas in unlined. The pigments are bright. There is stable hairline craquelure throughout the surface, particularly in the white pigment in the sky. There is a vertical stretcher bar indentation extending through the center of the work, next to the sail of the boat. There appears to be a few minor losses in the lower right corner, likely due to prior frame abrasion. Under UV light a dime-sized area on inpainting visible towards upper right along with a few additional small strokes. A small area near the center of the right edge and in the pindot in the sky toward the upper left corner. Some strokes in the lower left corner, likely to address the aforementioned frame abrasion. This work is in overall good condition.
