Description

Designed as a floral motif centring upon a cabochon emerald, surrounded by old European-cut diamond petals and cabochon emerald and onyx leaves, highlighted with black enamel trim, to the old European- and single-cut diamond articulated openwork band, accented by sugarloaf emerald and onyx with black enamel details, the diamonds and emeralds weighing approximately 10.00 and 3.00 carats respectively in total, mounted in platinum, unsigned, numbered, with French assay and maker’s marks, length approximately 175mm.
Condition
Accompanied by a Mauboussin authenticity certificate signed by Marguerite de Cerval stating that the bracelet, decorated with a central rosette motif, made of platinum, set with diamonds, emeralds, onyx and applied with enamel is unsigned, numbered 85020, and listed in the archives on 9 May 1925.
Numbered 85020 with French assay mark for platinum and maker's marks. Mounted in platinum. Emeralds, estimated to weigh approximately 3 carats are on average medium light to medium green of good to strong saturation with typical inclusions, some surface reaching when examined under 10X magnification. Onyx in very good condition. Signs of wear on some enamel, generally in good condition. Diamonds, estimated to weigh approximately 10 carats are on average H to I colour, VS to SI clarity as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of minor wear to metal consistent with age and use. Overall in very good condition.
