Description

Designed as a black lacquer band embellished with collet-set single-cut diamonds, opening to the front set with two cabochon coral with old-cut diamond details, mounted in platinum and white gold, signed Cartier, numbered, with French assay and maker's marks, inner circumference 170mm, case stamped Cartier.

Condition

Signed Cartier and indistinctly numbered 4499 and 9868, with French assay mark for gold and platinum and partial maker's marks. Stamped OR for gold and platinum mounting. Coral cabochons, measuring approximately 19.44 x 14.45 x 10.00mm and 19.33 x 14.32 x 9.50mm respectively, are even slightly orangy-red colour, with scratches and minor surface blemish commonly found in natural coral. Lacquer is black, slightly chipped on edges with minor cracks not noticeable when worn. Diamonds, estimated to weigh approximately 1.00 ct, are on average I to J colour, mostly VS to SI clarity as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of minor wear to metal consistent with age and use. Overall in very good condition. Accompanied by Cartier box.
