- Diamonds, platinum
Comprising: a necklace designed as a line of slightly graduated step-cut diamonds, length approximately 400mm, unsigned, French assay and maker's marks, and a pair of ear clips, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, cases stamped Cartier.
Condition
Accompanied by a photocopy of the invoice from Cartier for the necklace, dated 13 January 1973.
Necklace with French maker's mark for Chanson, 39 Rue des Petits-Champs, 75002 Paris. French assay marks, stamped Pt 900 for platinum and OR for gold. Clasp inscribed 50. Each ear clip signed Cartier Paris, numbered 5015, maker's marks for Cartier. French assay marks, stamped Pt 950 for platinum and OR for gold. Diamonds on the necklace stated to weigh a total of 32.25 carats, diamonds on the ear clips estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.00 - 7.00 carats, on average F-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Little signs of wear to the metal. Clasp secure, safety catch. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 78 grams. Cases stamped Cartier.
