Designed as a bird, the wings decorated with carved cabochon emeralds accented with baguette diamonds, the body pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds and circular-cut rubies, the feathers set with circular-cut emeralds and rubies, the eye embellished with a marquise-shaped diamond, signed Mauboussin, numbered, French assay marks.

Condition
Signed MAUBOUSSIN PARIS, numbered 15052, French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Emeralds yellowish green to green of light medium saturation, transparent to translucent, typical inclusions, some surface reaching, few cavities, nicks and scratches. Rubies purplish red, well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, some scratches and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.00 - 3.25 carats, on average H-I colour, VS clarity, as far as the yellow mount gold permits. Scratches of normal wear and minor tarnish to the metal. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 38 grams.
