Description
- Yellow sapphires, sapphires, gold
Of ribbon design, composed of oval, cushion-shaped and circular-cut yellow sapphires, further accented with circular-cut and cabochon sapphires, length approximately 170mm, inscribed Jean Eté, French assay and partial maker's marks.
Condition
Inscribed JEAN ETE PARIS. Partial French maker's mark, French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Sapphires blue of medium strong saturation, translucent, typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor cavities, nicks and scratches. Sapphires greenish yellow to orange of medium saturation, transparent, with abrasion and scratches. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. In overall good condition. Gross weight approximately 92 grams.
