Each piece except the two small extensions with French maker's marks for Vassort, 34 Rue Saint-Etienne, 75001 Paris. French assay marks, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold and OR for gold. Brooch inscribed R 233.27 and B 57.04. Rubies well matched in colour, purplish red, translucent, with surface-reaching inclusions, scratches, nicks and small chips, few cavities to the reverse. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 55.00 - 65.00 carats, on average G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the yellow gold mount. Little signs of wear to the metal consistent with light use. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 225 grams.
