The lozenge shaped pendant set with a step-cut sapphire weighing 42.73 carats, marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, suspended from a necklace set with a cushion-shaped sapphire and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 380mm. 

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 96084 and a duplicate of Gübelin report no. 0511567, each stating that the step-cut sapphire weighing 42.73 carats, measuring 20.00 x 16.22 x 12.61mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Step-cut sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, minor abrasions. For more information on the sapphire, please refer to the SSEF report. Cushion-shaped sapphire measuring approximately 9.73 x 9.60 x 5.12mm, with good transparency, small typical inclusions visible under close inspection. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 25.00 - 28.00 carats, on average G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount, one small marquise-shaped diamond chipped. Little signs of wear to the metal. Clasp secure, safety catch. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 79 grams.
