The earclips of stylized foliate design, set with two button-shaped semi-baroque cultured pearls measuring approximately 11.7 by 11.5 and 11.5 by 10.5, accented by cabochon rubies and round peridots, signed Marchak - Paris, numbered 425, with French assay and workshop marks; the brooch composed of a spiraled shell accented by cabochon rubies and round peridots, signed Marchak - Paris, numbered 24.031, with French assay and workshop marks.

Condition

In good condition. The shell exhibits soft orient and the reverse exhibits some slight peeling. The cultured pearls are silvery white with rose and green overtones and good luster. The rubies are opaque and heavily included with surface-reaching fractures. The peridots are medium yellow green with minor to moderate surface abrasions. Dimensions of brooch approximately 2 3/4 x 2 inches. Length of earclips approximately 1 inch.
