Condition
The paint surface is overall in good stable condition. The paint in the faces appears retouched. There are various losses to the paint, notably on the body of the Virgin, dress of St Anne and at the top of the latter's nose. The head of the Christ Child has been reattached and areas of adhesive are visible. The Virgin's headdress or crown has old damages.
