The panel is uncradled and beveled on all four sides. Under a slightly dirty varnish. The catalogue photograph is too pink. Overall the painting reads very well and there is nice detail in the figures, landscape and trees. Examination under UV light reveals some retouching in sky, in tree at upper left and along the tree trunk down to the lower left. Some other retouches in the sky at center and to the right of the tree at right side. The foreground, architecture and figures look good. In a faux ebony wood frame.
