- 12 gelatin silver prints in a portfolio case
(Carmel, California: self-published, 1973, an edition of 100), a portfolio of 12 photographs, each mounted, signed and dated in pencil on the mount, and with the portfolio stamp, numbered sequentially in ink, on the reverse, 1960-73; together with the printed title, introduction by Gerald Robinson, plate list, and colophon. Folio, brown cloth gilt-lettered case with flaps
Condition
These photographs are in generally excellent condition. When examined closely in raking light, most of the prints exhibit faint silvering at the periphery in the darkest areas, and there are a few tiny pinpoint-sized impressions that do not appear to break the emulsion.
The plates are as follows:
1. Convent, Portugal, 1960
2. Seashore erosion, Spain, 1971
3. Gondolas, Venice, 1971
4. Landscape, Germany, 1960
5. Canal, Holland, 1971
6. Graveyard, Spain, 1960
7, Elm Forest, Holland, 1971
8. Torn poster, Holland, 1971
9. Farm, Switzerland, 1973
10. Cracked paint, Portugal, 1971
11. Village, Spain, 1971
12. Arches, Germany, 1971
