- largest sheet (Six Saints after Titian): 423 by 568mm 16 3/4 by 22 3/8 in
Engraving, a good impression, circa 1498, a fragment; with Christ in Limbo after Mantegna, possibly by Francesco Novelli, engraving, circa 1797, a good impression; and Six Saints after Titian, woodcut (Muraro & Rosand 44), a fairly good but slightly uneven impression
Condition
B. 12: Trimmed approx. 87 mm. into left of subject, retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the borderline at top and bottom, trimmed on the borderline at right, the left edge of print overlaid with a paper strip drawn in with a borderline in pen and black ink, two small plugged losses in the foremost elephant's ear touched-in with pen and black ink, residual sanguine crayon towards the left sheet edge, a couple of small brown stains towards left of subject.
F. Novelli: Retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the borderline, in good condition, the print laid onto thick laid paper.
After Titian: With unevenly trimmed margins, made-up losses at the sheet corners and edges, some surface dirt and in the margins, a letter inscribed in pen and ink in the upper margin, a pale stain in the lower margin, the subject in good condition.
