Condition
The photograph has been mounted on hardboard which is reinforced by a wooden stretcher. This was done by the artist. A few of the nails with which the stretcher is attached to the board are slightly protruding and dents are visible in places along the edges. The photographic paper covers the left, right and top edges of the board and stretcher. There are a few losses to the paper, most notably to the left of the figure, within the outline of the hand as well as to the corners. There are a few scattered scuffs and scratches elsewhere. There is a layer of surface dirt and there are stains to the upper edge, to the right of the figure, to the unpainted area lower left as well as in other places. Unframed.
