Condition
Original canvas on what appears to be original stretcher. There are frame abrasions along all four edges. There is a pattern of craquelure in places, notably to the white impastoed areas. There are several flecks of paint loss to the white area towards the central area of the foreground just below the pond and another fleck of paint loss to the roof. There is a layer of light surface dirt with spots in places. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered areas of minor retouching. Held in a gilt carved wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
