adapted from the model by August Spiess, both of baluster form, painted with borscht-coloured grounds, the white part-glazed biscuit handles modelled as caryatid maidens holding flowers and issuing leaf-and-berry festoons suspended from gilt rosettes, the spreading bases moulded with leaves, the gilt rim of bound laurel, domed covers, both with green Imperial cypher of Alexander II

Condition
Excellent condition, with some firing flaws, including a slight unevenness in the borsht-covered glaze.
