Comprising: a devant-de-corsage of floral design, set with rose diamonds and oval rubies and accented with leaves applied with green enamel, suspending an articulated lower section; a pair of brooches; a pair of girandole earrings, detachable surmounts; and a hair ornament of similar design.

Condition
Colour variation to rubies due to foil back settings. Rubies with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some are surface reaching, with chips and nicks and surface scratches. Diamonds are bright and lively. Green leaves with loss of enamel, many appears black rather than green, some loose and bent. Solder repair visible to reverse. Metal with signs of regular wear, scratches, some discolouration. Butterfly fittings to earring posts mismatched. Brooch fittings with some play, closes securely. Overall condition commensurate with age and wear.

Sotheby’s held🌊 a sale in Geneva in November of 1992 of 300 lots of jewels and silver from the House of Thurn and Taxis to be followed by a four day sale of the contents of the ancestral home Schloss St Emmeram, Regensburg the following year.
