Designed as a grape vine, set throughout with cushion-shaped diamonds, suspending five drop-shaped natural pearls.
Condition
Accompanied by report no. 11308 from the Gem & Pearl Laboratory, stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater. Largest pearl measuring approximately 7.9-8.6 x 13mm, smallest pearl 8.2-8.7mm in width, length 10-11mm.
Pearls of well-matched cream to white body colour with white, pink and rose overtones, varied lustre and varied, slightly irregular drop shapes. Areas of pitting, scratches, minor crazing and slight surfaces imperfections to nacre, overall in good condition. Diamonds bright and lively, mixed colours and clarities, estimated total diamond weight approximately 16.00 - 18.00 carats. Largest diamond approximately 7 x 6.6 x 4.2mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.30 - 1.50 carats, estimated clarity SI1. Piece has been later rhodium plated. Areas of wear to rhodium plating on reverse. Hooks on pearl surmounts have been soldered closed, with visible solder residue. Scratches to general wear to surfaces consistent with age and use. Pin fitting intact and secure. Overall dimensions approximately 90 x 83mm. In good condition.
