the 'throne'-style armchair of crescent shape, the high, shaped crest rail surmounting three open work registers with staggered vertical struts, flanked by similar panels of two tiers, repeated to the lower arm rails, the wood seat set within a shaped frame with molded edge, all raised on six cylindrical legs joined by ascending stretchers
Condition
The settee is in overall good condition. There has been some shrinkage to the seat panel. There has been overall consolidation to the joinery, minor repairs and wear consistent with age and use. The four feet are slightly uneven on the ground.
