the steep rounded sides rising to a slightly flared mouth rim, the exterior painted with eight large peony blossoms in a band of dense foliated vines below a chevron band around the rim, the foot encircled with ruyi lappets, the base with a six-character seal mark
Condition
The bowl has one extremely fine hairline crack descending from the rim (approx. 6 cm) with associated minute shallow frits and clear consolidant applied to the interior and exterior of the area (visible under blacklight). There are minute bruises to the glaze on the rim (visible only under blacklight).
