the yakshi standing on a rectangular plinth in elegant tribhanga, wearing disk-shaped earrings, a large amulet around her neck, and heavy bracelets and anklets, with an incised dhoti wrapped around the waist, the right arm raised and grapsing a tree branch, the left hand raised to her face holding a mirror

Provenance

Acquired in Pakistan between 1961-1969.

Condition

Wear, accretion and surface abrasions overall. With 1/2 inch tangs at top and bottom . With small scattered areas of what appears to be white paint. With metal rings at reverse for wall mounting.
