- Porcelain, Wood stand and frame made of rosewood Dalbergia
finely painted with an egret standing in a water pond detailed with flowers and leaves, accompanied by an inscription and a seal, dated Republic 24th year, corresponding to 1935, mounted as a table screen in a fitted wood stand (2)
Condition
The porcelain plaque is in mostly good condition with some age appropriate wear to the surface, including some minor abrasion to the enamels and small areas of in-filling. The wood frame with a gap to the joinery of the burlwood panels on lower right hand side and a small chip to the upper left corner. Some wear to the surface and minor gaps to some of the joinery. Please note that the panel was not removed from the frame for inspection.Please note that this lot includes a stand, frame or other component made from a type of Chinese hardwood, which, if exported, will require a CITES permit to leave the United States.
