Condition
The board is flat and even. There are just a few scattered pinhead-sized indentations and associated spots of paint-flaking, as visible in the catalogue illustration. Ultraviolet light reveals scattered clusters of strokes of retouching in the sky and a small area in the water between the amphoras. This painting is in good overall condition.
Held in a decorative gilt frame.
