A VERY GOOD COPY. The author was the official artist to the embassy of Major William Cornwallis Harris sent in 1841 to open up trade with the ancient kingdom of Shoa. The first part is entitled "The Lowlands of the Danakil"; the second "The Highlands of the Shoa". The first two plates are of Aden.
