Condition
The sheet is fully laid down onto a backing board. The sheet appears sound. The edges of the sheet are slightly uneven in places, with one or two very small nicks and tears, and along the lower edge there are some losses to the sheet, possibly due to an old mount. There is some craquelure to some of the thicker areas of gouache. In one or two places, there may be some very tiny specks of loss to the gouache, only visible upon extremely close inspection. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
The work is presented in an ornate moulded gilt frame, held under glass.
