Notley Abbey Inventory, April 1948, p. 34, the china room, lobby and flower room, 'A Spanish copper lustre circular dish of scroll design 20" diameter', (The Vivien Leigh Archive, Victoria & Albert Museum, London, THM/433/6/1).

Condition

There is extensive wear to lustre of well. There are general rim nibbles and scattered chips around most of the rim. There is a chip at the rim which has been restored with a replacement material, and there is an associated area of re-touching to front surface. The lustre on the reverse is in generally good order.
