Condition

Overall condition very good. Light natural wear to surfaces and extremities commensurate with age and use. There is a slightly loose joint to one back leg. There are some slight watermarks to the oak frame. The leather seat appears to be original – and a new insert of leather has been added to the inside of the back rest to increase support. The surfaces of the oak frame appear to have been cleaned. Overall in our opinion the chair presents well and retains a firm structure. The proper left arm has 3-4 tacks that are separated from the wooden frame with some subsequent wear to the wood.
