Condition
Overall the chairs present well, and in our opinion exhibit an attractive colour and patina.
Chair One: There is one very minor of age separation to just above the joint where the arm connects to one leg. There are some occasional separations to the cane on the back rest and minor watermarking, none of which are visually obtrusive. The top rail to the back has one loose joint.
Chair Two: The top rail to the back rest has one loose joint. The seat rail joint is slightly loose. There are some minor separations to the cane to the back rest – both front and back.
Overall despite these minor issues, the chairs present well, in overall very good original condition with attractive age patina, and would benefit from having their loose joints secured. This represents a rare opportunity to acquire a scarce Hans Wegner model.
