The black enameled shade with a ¼ in. nick to the shade body (visible in catalogue illustration) and two chips at the aperture to the upper edge of the shade, exposing base metal. The screws that affix the shade to the base could be tighter, however this is stable. The are 2-3 scatter scuffs and nicks to the shade, none of which are visually obtrusive. The wood surfaces present with faint minor surface scratches, nicks and scattered minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use, largely concentrated to the lower portions of the legs. The cord for the lamp radiates down the back leg and the the design is markedly lightweight. Characteristic Swedish design that presents well overall.
