Overall very good condition. The Rotaflex shade in excellent condition. There is some minor pitting at the joint connecting the shade to the long column and the patinated metal handle with light rubbing consistent with gentle handling. The wooden base is possibly replaced, but remains in excellent condition. The round magnetic ball with a minor patch of wear and discoloration. The magnetic connection is very strong and the lamp is structurally very stable. The lamp arm retains the original producer's hanging tag. A modern design of marked size for any desktop, the lamp presents well overall. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
