Condition
Each chair in overall good condition. The wood surfaces of each chair present with scattered minor surface scratches, nicks and some minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use and largely concentrated to the lower portions of the legs as well as the upper arms. One chair with a minor indentation at the top of the curved back rest which has been oiled, so not visually obtrusive. The current cane seats are all original and in some cases a tad try/brittle. Four chairs present with some broken cane weaves and three chairs with some losses to the cane which would benefit from restringing in these areas. Five of the eight chairs have "Knoll International" paper labels and all eight are branded. A well matched assembled set, the wood has been well cared for and each chair retains a rich coloration, typical of teak.
