- teak, brass
Condition
The sideboard is in overall very good condition, consistent with age and gentle use. The solid teak structure has been recently oiled and has a warm and rich hue, presenting slightly more red in person than in the catalogue illustration. There are very minor nicks and scattered minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use, largely concentrated to the lower portions of the legs. The top presents with two to four minor scratches (longest is 6in.), but none of which are visually distracting. Also the top has two very small nicks on the proper left front corner with wood infill, but this is very minor and not visually distracting. The proper left door slides open to reveal one adjustable shelf and four sliding drawers in natural teak. The proper right side opens to reveal one large adjustable shelf. With a very well balanced and proportioned deign, the cabinet has subtle details in the joinery of the left and with the characteristic metal disk in the upper registers of the two sliding doors.
