Condition
A complimentary pair in finish and age. Both chairs are a more subdued teak hue on the arms than the catalogue illustration. The wood of both chairs presents with faint and scattered nicks, scratches and minor scuffs, all consistent with gentle use. Some surface dirt to the upper edges of the hoop frame. One chair with three repaired cracks to the proper left side of the hoop frame above the arm, visible in the catalogue illustration. The paper cord seats of both in generally good condition with a few cords that could be slightly more taught. Overall a dynamic and popular form conceived as a modern adaptation of the traditional Windsor chair.
