Condition
The vase has not been inspected without the mount. There are minute fritts on the raised parts of the carving. There are many white inclusions and natural veins going through the stone, including a ca. 10 cm natural vein extending on the body and a ca. 2 cm vein starting at the rim and extending vertically into the neck. There are few dents on the mounts, and light wear to the gilding. The actual colour of the stone is slightly more celadon than the catalogue illustration suggests.
