Description

  • 6.2 by 24 by 6.7cm. 
composed of ivory plaques set in a rectangular format, the exterior carved throughout with floral medallions and borders, with a hinged cover revealing an interior consisting of an ivory tray with two sections and two gilt-metal inkwells, on four short feet

Condition

In generally good condition, some dirt encrustation within interstices, notably to pounced background and between designs, the short feet appear to be later additions, some scratches to internal tray, rubbing and loss of gilding to lids of inkwells, as viewed.
