Condition
Colour: The colours in the cataogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is lighter and brighter in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. There is evidence of oxidation to the base of one of the owls, and some shallow and superficial scratches in places which are only visible when examined in raking light. There are some spots of irregular colour to the surface, which could be inherent to the artist's working process. There are a few faint rub marks in isolated places and a few minute indentations to one of the heads.
