Description

Comprising: a pair of pendent ear clips of textured design, set with spheres of lapis lazuli and brilliant-cut diamonds, clip and chain hook fittings; a ring, size I; and a brooch of textured design modelled as an eagle, perching on an orb pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, its eye set with a marquise-shaped ruby, its body set with polished lapis lazuli, one ear clip, ring and brooch signed Chaumet, all with French assay and maker's marks, two pouches stamped Chaumet.
Condition
Brooch stamped Chaumet Paris on plaque to reverse. French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's mark on brooch fitting. Ring stamped Chaumet Paris on plaque to inside of mount, stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's mark to outside of ring shank. One ear clip with plaque stamped Chaumet Paris, each with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's mark on clip fittings. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.80-2.00 carats, estimated clarity SI. Lapis lazuli well matched, one bead on one ear clip appears lighter in colour, a few beads with low lustre, surface wear and scratches, a few with fractures. Ruby mid red, transparent, typical inclusions and surface wear to stone surface. Metal surfaces with scratches. Ring mount is slightly oval shaped. Clips with tight tension. Brooch fitting closes securely. Total gross weight approximately 83 grams. Overall condition good.
