Description
- diamond gold 750 platinum 950 pearl
Each earring surmount of scroll design, set with brilliant- and single-cut diamonds, supporting a natural pearl; a brooch of similar design, set with brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, Italian assay and maker's marks; a ring, set with a cultured pearl, framed by circular- and single-cut diamonds, size N½.
Condition
Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 10205, dated 2nd May 2018, stating that the 2 pearls measuring 9.92 x 10.05 x 11.75mm and 9.20 x 9.94 x 11.60mm and weighing 32.86 and 29.48 grains, are natural, saltwater.
Earrings: natural pearls are of grey and cream body colour, the cream with rose overtones, both with high lustre, irregular drop shape, some pits. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.80-3.20 carats, estimated clarity VS-SI. Clip fittings close securely with good tension, some evidence of pearl glue around top of pearl.
Brooch: Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.60-3.00 carats, estimated clarity VS on average. Pin fitting with good tension, closes securely with sliding safety catch.
Ring: cultured pearl of grey body colour and rose and green overtones, high lustre and some minor areas of loss of nacre. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.50-0.70 carats. Light scratches to mount consistent with wear.
Total gross weight approximately 37 grams, overall in good condition.
