Description

Of geometric design in carved rock crystal, set with calibré-cut tourmalines and brilliant- and circular-cut diamonds, signed Cartier, indistinctly numbered, pouch stamped Cartier.
Condition
Signed Cartier to reverse of brooch fitting. Indistinctly numbered to inside of brooch fitting, possibly 6678. Small chips and surface scratches to rock crystal. Tourmalines mid green, one slightly different in colour, transparent, some small inclusions visible under magnification, a few rubbed facet edge, minor chips and light surface scratches to stone surfaces. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.40-0.50 carats, estimated clarity VS, as graded within the limitations of the mount, colour difficult to gauge due to mount. Clip with good tension. Light scratches to metal surfaces and some small pits to inside of brooch fitting. Overall condition good. Measuring approximately 30 x 23mm. Gross weight approximately 19.3 grams. Accompanied by pouch stamped Cartier.
