Accompanied by DSEF (German Foundation for Gemstone Research) report no. 027424, stating that the central sapphire measuring 11.25 x 11.15x 9.28mm and weighing 10.72 carats, is of Madagascan origin, with indications of heat treatment. Ring stamped 750 to interior of shank, numbered 10.73 1.96, referring to the stated weights of the sapphire and diamonds respectively. Sapphire mid to deep blue, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, some areas of minor chipping and wear to facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.70 - 2.00 carats. Scratches to metal and sapphire surfaces consistent with wear. Gross weight approximately 16.9 grams. In good condition.
