Description

Of pendent design, claw-set with a cabochon opal, the surround and surmount millegrain-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, to a fine-link necklace, length approximately 445mm.
Condition
Reverse of pendant and clasp stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Opal measures approximately 12.6 x 11.0 x 6.3mm, calculated to weigh 4.97 carats. Strong play of colour with flashes of orange and green. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.80-1.10 carats. Gross weight approximately 7 grams, some very minor surface scratches but otherwise in good condition.
